Between the hills and twisting roads of Southern Estonia, you’ll find a modern and contemporary restaurant with a lively atmosphere waiting for you.
Our goal is to pamper your taste buds with exciting and distinctive foods. Add deliciousness to life with excellent cocktails and introduce locally-made craft drinks. We want you to leave KODAS with a heart full of warmth and an unforgettable experience in your soul.
We opened our doors in the spring of 2021. Us that is, the four girls you see in the picture above, together with our head chef Tormi Saarniit.
It is difficult to characterize our dishes in one word: the menu contains bits and pieces from the cuisines of different countries. The emphasis is on pure flavor combinations, among Scandinavian minimalism and the courage to experiment. We use seasonal pearls and raw ingredients planted in the soil ourselves.
SUNDAY BRUNCH
Sundays are dedicated to brunch (aka all-day breakfast) in this house. We operate from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and surprise you every week with a SPECIAL MENU a la carte, which we will announce on our social media channels - Facebook and Instagram. On Sundays we don't offer the regular menu.
HOW TO FIND US?
The restaurant is located in Valgjärve, South Estonia - just 35 minutes by car from Tartu, 13 minutes from Otepää, 31 minutes from Võru. You're welcome to visit us from Thursday to Sunday during the summer season.
