Love is in the air – Valentine’s Day Dinner + Concert | 14 February
KODAS invites you to enjoy soothing music and a delightful journey of flavors on the most heartfelt day of the year.
On Valentine’s day, singer Susanna Aleksandra, guitarist Jaanis Kill and double-bassist Robert Nõmmann will create a blissful atmosphere of tunes.
You will hear beloved love songs from Estonian, American and French jazz heritage. However, you shouldn’t worry about it being a night of love ballads. There will be plenty of joyful gypsy jazz tunes to light up the mood.
The singer, songwriter and author of the lyrics Susanna Aleksandra has given out two highly regarded albums – “Miracles” and “The Siren”. The later of the two was named among “Best Albums of the year 2021” by the leading jazz music publication Jazzwise and nominated as the “Best Jazz Album” at the 2022 Estonian Music Awards.
Susanna has graduated the Sibelius Academy with a bachelors degree in jazz music and is currently working on her masters degree.
